Tina Mah, PhD

Tina is Grand River Hospital's vice president of planning and performance management. Tina is responsible for strategic and operational planning, project management office, quality, risk management/patient safety, decision support, health records/transcription, health information management, IT, and research.

Tina completed her PhD in Health Studies and Gerontology at the University of Waterloo, holds a bachelor of science in occupational therapy from the University of Alberta and a master of business administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. Tina has held senior management positions across the care continuum including hospital, homecare, community, and private consulting services. Tina's research interest is in the areas of the care of older adult with a particularly interest in patient safety, quality improvement and risk management.
