Dawn Guthrie, PhD

Dr. Guthrie has been actively involved in health research for nearly 20 years, with a major focus on evaluating health and social services for older persons and those with disabilities. Dr. Guthrie has worked with interRAI instruments for the past 12 years. She led the development of the Deafblind Supplement to the interRAI Community Health Assessment, a standardized assessment instrument for individuals with both vision and hearing loss. Dr. Guthrie's other research interests include the development and application of quality indicators (QIs), risk adjustment for QIs and community-based palliative care.
