Andrea Foebel, PhD

Andrea recently completed her degree in the Aging, Health and Well-Being Ph.D. program at the University of Waterloo. She holds a BSc from McGill University (Anatomy and Cell Biology) and a MSc from McMaster University (Medical Science/Pharmacology and Physiology). Her doctoral work examined the use of medications for heart failure in elderly home care clients. Her expertise and research interests include chronic disease management, pharmacoepidemiology and health policy. She is also a collaborator with interRAI colleagues in Europe on projects involving medication use in Parkinson's Disease, Dementia and Cardiovascular Disease.
